What is metal brushing?

The so-called metal brushing process is to make the surface of the metal by abrasive materials to mechanical relative movement back and forth and chemical corrosion to make the surface of the workpiece light to get a layer of coarse and fine distribution of macro fingerprint surface.

Compared with other surface treatment, the brushing process can make the metal surface to obtain a non-mirror-like metallic luster, just like silk satin with a very strong decorative effect, in order to play a beautiful, anti-erosion role, so that the product has both fashion and technology elements, so the brushing process has more and more market recognition and widely used.

The brushing process can be used on stainless steel, aluminum, copper, iron and other metal products.

Wire drawing classification

The processing methods of wire drawing are manual drawing and mechanical drawing, and the focus of this article is on mechanical drawing.

Common mechanical wire drawing has the following ways.

1. Flat-pressed abrasive belt drawing.

Flat-press type wire drawing is a very common way of drawing, the workpiece is fixed on the mold, grinding sand belt running at high speed, the back of the sand belt has a pneumatic control can move up and down the pressure block, after the lower pressure sand belt fit in the processed surface for wire drawing.

2. Non-woven roller brush drawing

The workpiece is transmitted by the conveyor belt through the non-woven roller brush, and the roller brush rotates at high speed to draw the surface of the workpiece. When drawing, the roller brush can be used to vibrate and the roller brush does not vibrate in two ways, and at the same time with different processing speed so as to produce different length of the line pattern. This method can be suitable for large area drawing, while the drawing surface can be with a certain curvature, even small protrusions such as text markings. At the same time can produce two kinds of drawing line pattern effect.

3. Wide abrasive belt drawing

This drawing method is the most traditional drawing method, used for flat drawing, especially suitable for plate processing.

4. Centerless grinding wire drawing

This is the way of drawing by centerless grinding. The abrasive product used is a non-woven wire drawing wheel or abrasive belt. It is suitable for round tubular workpieces, such as handle grips. This way of wire drawing line pattern is usually short wire pattern, the length of the wire pattern with the workpiece rotation speed, the rotation speed of the abrasive product and the abrasive product itself.

5. Polishing machine drawing

Adopt the machine's rotational speed to drive the nylon wheel and polish the product by manual technique. Suitable for irregular plating products.
